A binder for cigar bands
Q. My husband keeps his cigar bands after smoking a new brand of cigar. I'd like to purchase something for him to store these in but can't find anything specifically for cigar bands.  Any advice?
- Dawn S.
A. Great question. I was at a cigar dinner last year at which one of the gentlemen brought his collection of vintage Cuban and obsolete cigar bands that he'd been collecting for over 40 years. He kept them in the type of binder (with clear plastic sheets) used for saving photographs or collecting stamps. Since it's a gift for your husband, you might want to find a fancier binder; maybe one with a cloth cover, or even a binder with a clear plastic sleeve on the front that allows you to slip a cover sheet inside it. To make it more personal, find something special to slip in there for him, like a nice photograph of him smoking his favorite cigar. Maybe even a nice picture of yourself. ;-)
