The Texas House approved Bill 1811, getting one step closer to banning smoking in all indoor public places.

While several cities have enacted laws which already prohibit smoking in public places, Addison still leaves that decision up to business owners.
"At our steakhouse, we have a separate room which is a
cigar lounge," said Restaurant Owner Richard Chamberlain. "We make almost a million dollars in sales back there, and we pay a lot of revenue to the state."
But, the state may want to collect money by other means.
