The city of San Antonio, TX has passed one of the country's strictest anti-smoking pieces of legislation today, making all workplaces, restaurants and bars smoke-free. The ordinance was passed by Mayor Julian Castro and members of the San Antonio city council.
Cigar Rights of America had issued a call-to-action recently to encourage members and those who support the right to enjoy a cigar to e-mail Mayor Castro and members of the council to rethink the proposed ordinance, or at least modify to ensure the rights of cigar smokers were not being trampled on.
