Proposed legislation in NJ could land smokin' drivers jail time

TRENTON, NJ-If passed, new legislation would find drivers choosing to smoke in a car that is occupied by a minor, in violation of the law. The punishment could be up to 30 days in jail and a $500 fine for the first violation. Any subsequent violation would be punished symmetrically with harsher consequences. Read more from New Jersey
