By DALE WILSON | Bismark Tribune (Letters to the Editor)
The Bismarck City Council made a huge mistake. If so many people wanted bars that were non-smoking, then why are the smoke-free bars not packed all the time?
If the city council would take a tour some Friday or Saturday night and see for themselves which bars have business, they would know whether people want non-smoking bars or if there are just a few busybodies (most probably don’t go to the bar) who want to dictate how someone can run something they own.
I am a non-smoker, so this is not the agenda of a smoker. When I do not want to smell smoke, I go where there is no smoking. I do not try to force my views upon someone else.
