Kirkwood seems to have escaped the reach of a smoking ban

KIRKWOOD, MO - Although the official count hasn't been announced, all signs seem to point to Kirkwood's residents turning out a favorable vote against enacting a smoking ban in their community. Surely, if it's a fact when the final count is announced, many business owners can breathe a sigh of relief. If the ban is approved, smoking would be prohibited within 25 feet of an establishment, and at a number of outdoor venues. Read more from Missouri
