This story from
WFMZ-TV Channel 69 News in Allentown, PA, reports on the reaction to the state's new "Clean Air Act" by local Monday Night Football fans who go out to watch the game.
It's Eagles vs. Cowboys on Monday Night Football. And if that's not enough, there's something especially notable about Monday's game. WFMZ's Melissa Batulis reports from the Pike Cafe in Reading. This is a smoke free Monday Night Football here and at many bars and restaurants. The statewide smoking ban of course... went into effect on Thursday. And smokers and non-smokers are still getting used to the change.
Eagles-Cowboys Monday night and it is packed inside the Pike Cafe...and outside too.
TERMINI: The ban's gotta go.
Call it force of habit, but the newly implemented smoking ban was enough to tear Sean Termini and many other local football fanatics away from the big game.
NARLESKI: I don't think our government has the right, our state government has the right to tell anybody what to do. I think it should be up to the owners.
HERNANDEZ: I don't mind going outside. It's not a big deal and anyone who does mind, get a grip.
