City council in Indiana refuses to address a citywide smoking ban

NOBLESVILLE, IN - City council President Brian Ayer discussed the issue of a citywide smoking ban with fellow council members before collectively deciding not to proceed with the issue. The topic came about after receiving phone calls & emails from residents requesting the measure. The city council maintains its support to uphold business owners' rights to retain the choice based on what is best for their business. So unless Indiana enacts a statewide ban, people in Noblesville will still have the option of choosing - to smoke or not to smoke. Read more from Indiana
