Business owners fighting Emporia smoking ban

Some business owners are fighting a smoking ban that passed in Emporia last week.

The ban is set to go into effect on March 3, but the group Emporians Open for Business are trying to collect enough signatures to put it to a public vote.

The group needs about 750 signatures.

Clean Air Emporia, a group that supports the ban, says safety is the issue.
