Some restaurant and bar owners say it's been a fight for ten years keeping a statewide smoking ban from taking affect in Iowa.
Restaurant and bar owners in Sioux City came together to talk about some of their options with a representative from the Iowa Restaurant Association.
The Representative from the Iowa Restaurant Association say since Governor Culver signed the bill into law on April 15th there's not much they can do, but it doesn't hurt to explore more options. Some folks here say they're tired of the government telling them how to run their business.
Rhonda Capron Rhonda's Speak Easy says, "I'm a 21 and over bar not a restaurant. So I don't think it's their business to be running my business."
