Atlantic City was once the hot spot of the East Coast. The biggest names in entertainment were seen on a regular basis at the casinos in Atlantic City, and travelers planned vacations frequently to the Las Vegas of the East Coast.
Owners of these casinos that once were the toast of the town, have ran their establishments into the ground, and the gambling revenue numbers show as much. In September, revenue numbers had their biggest drop in thirty years.
Owners of casinos in the city are now complaining that a new smoking ban that has been put into effect, is killing their business. Nothing could be farther from the truth.
