LAS VEGAS, NV - Since Clark County District Court Judge Douglas Herndon decided to allow the voter approved smoking ban to proceed, businesses across the county have started to snuff out the smoke sooner than is required. The law doesn't actually go into effect until the judge signs the bill, which could take a couple weeks. One of the businesses moving early with ban compliance is McCarran Airport, which is no longer offering patrons enclosed spaces for smoking. Those former smoking areas no longer contain ashtrays, but the slot machines that stood side by side with them aren't going anywhere. Read more from Las Vegas
