PITTSBURGH, PA - Allegheny County has changed the required distance smokers must be from building entrances. Currently smokers must be 15 feet from the entrance, but that distance has now been changed to just 5 feet, which opens up the possibilities for businesses to allow smoking on open, outdoor decks and patios. Not everyone is happy about the decision, but it received enough support to move forward with the adjustment.
