ATLANTIC CITY, NJ - If the partial smoking ban isn't enough to deal with, the casinos now have the tough decision to make of whether to invest millions of dollars into creating a profitable atmosphere for its smoking gamblers or not. As the ban stands now, a compromise was reached allowing 25% of casino's gaming floors to be smoking permissive. Much renovation needs to be made with plenty of variables to consider, and since state legislation may very well enact a complete smoking ban in the future, casinos are grappling with the task of investing considerable amounts of money into something that may end up being prohibited anyway.
