While there are many challenges ahead, we have at least as many opportunities; positive and proactive opportunities to improve and protect our businesses!
It is with great pride that we present you with The Tobacconist Preservation Act (TPA). The TPA is the first/only proactive political act to be initiated by Tobacconist University: we are proposing a federal law which will protect Tobacconist and consumer rights to smoke in retail Tobacconist shops. This federal law will override local and state ordinances, like in Delaware, where Tobacconists are banned from smoking in their shops.
If you have read through our academic curriculum, and Taste College in particular, it is abundantly clear that Tobacconists (and customers) must be able to sample and study our products in our stores. And we must start preserving those rights TODAY.
Please sign the online Petition and then forward the link to everyone you know. Our goal is to get one million signatures and then leverage that towards legislative protection. Tobacconist University will make the Petitions available to any retailers fighting for their rights with local legislators, as well as any organization fighting to preserve Tobacconist and consumer rights.
The TPA is a project for the whole industry to participate in and leverage. It is here for you now and in the future, when you will indubitably need it! So, please start signing and sharing it now!
