Wayne Casto is one proud veteran, happy to have fought for his country and thrilled that other members of his family also served in the military.
Freedom has special meaning for him, Casto said, because he has done his part to help preserve it for himself and all Americans.
That's part of the reason he's so upset with the Berkeley County Health Department's proposal to ban smoking in area bars, fraternal and private clubs as well as meeting rooms in hotels and motels, because he sees it as a threat to individual freedom.
