Scented candles designed with men in mind

MACON, GA -- Valor Candles, founded by Johnny Rohrbeck of Macon, Georgia, launched in August of 2011 with the purpose of meeting the under-served need for more masculine scented products for the home. Johnny and his team worked closely with a team of fragrance experts and manufacturers to develop a line of scented candles that were inspired by places and/or events considered to be typically "manly" in nature.

"Every great experience has a story," said Rohrbec. "My goal was to capture the essence of those stories by triggering the sense of smell, which is tied to memory and emotion. Scent can often enable us to re-live the positive feelings associated with great experiences” – Johnny Rohrbeck.

Valor launched with four initial fragrances: Humidor (tobacco and cedar), for men who appreciate fine cigars, Fairway (Freshly cut grass), Parlor (Classic Barbershop), and Datenight (a complex cologne fragrance). Since their grand opening, Valor has shipped candles all over the U.S. and will begin shipping overseas in the near future.
