"Facebook can lead to mug book, and MySpace can lead to jail space."
Oxford Police Chief Stephan Schwein used that quote Wednesday after his officers made their first arrests attributed to Facebook.
Oxford police, who launched pages on Facebook and MySpace just shy of a year ago, say the Facebook social-networking site led to three arrests in a stolen-cigars case recently.
The case provides the latest example of how police are using Internet sites as crime-fighting and crime-investigating tools.
