Voice your opposition to the Governor's tobacco tax proposal
As we previously announced, the Governor has proposed in his 2011 budget excessive tobacco tax increases. We have launched two Legislative Action Alerts for you and your customers to voice your opposition; the email option so you may send a message to your legislators and governor, and a phone call option.
It is important to note that this is only Gov. Patrick's proposal--there is no bill number. Our goal, working in conjunction with the Cigar Association of America (CAA), is to stop this proposal before it is filed and considered in the state legislature.
