West Hartford, CT - For the cigar aficionado who has everything (and possibly a touch of superstition), Wittman Idea Network has just introduced some very unique cigar accessories - The CigarGoyles - gargoyle-inspired statues that watch over your
humidor, guarding your fine cigar collection.
Originally sculpted in 1997, The CigarGoyles™ are the creation of Brian Wittman. An avid cigar smoker himself, Brian has designed cigar branded products, catalogs, advertising and marketing materials for over a decade. As creative director of his agency Wittman Idea Network, his cigar clients have included the Cuban Cigar Company, Clayton Cigars and F.D. Grave to name a few. He created the best-selling CigarWitt™ apparel for Gary Scott International as featured in their Clayton catalog.
"Cigars are as popular as they were in the 90's, when the original statues were created," said Brian Wittman, president of Wittman Idea Network. "I decided it was time to reintroduce them to a new market of cigar lovers."
The CigarGoyle won't keep your cigars from drying out, dampening, rot, peeling or any other unpleasantries. Rather, it wards off would-be borrowers, snatchers, thieves and the like. "I've had mine for over 10 years and haven't lost a cigar yet," Wittman added. "We expect if you own a humidor, you'll want to protect it in a fun and decorative way."
"Stoker," the first in a series of three, available now, is designed to hold a cigar, cutter and lighter and measures approximately 6" tall x 4" wide. Each statue is made from a marble/poly resin blend in a charcoal grey and black rubbed finish.
