Live music was popping on the street corner of Walnut Street and Burdick Avenue.
From the car, it looked like a group of people were having a party on the front patio of a small bar while a
band played on the building's front porch.
The bar was the new Fat City Bistro, formerly Nick's Tavern and Grill. The music was coming from a band of one, Ray Ray Townsend, who played a guitar to his own recorded percussion and bass lines.
Patrons had turned their chairs around to listen to the fellow's powerful blues, soul and funk music on that early Friday evening. Guests had also moved some tables away from the center of the patio so they could dance. (More)
