Retail Watch w/Tyrone Richardson | The Morning Call (Allentown, PA)
This column gives food for thought to those hungering for as much restaurant news as possible.
Let's start with the highly anticipated Leaf Restaurant Cigar Bar & Lounge, which [opened] at the Famous Smoke Shop at 90 Mort Drive, Forks Township.
"Leaf was added because cigar aficionados have been clamoring for a place to have a meal with their stogie," Jeff Brown, chief operating officer, said.
The place seats about 100 and has libations that include 10 kinds of beer on tap and about 80 in bottles. Many of the suds are from craft brewers, including locals Weyerbacher and Victory Brewing Co.
Leaf's menu has dishes such as Tuna Tataki, Peppered Strawberry Salad, Woodland Game Hen, Polynesian Tuna, Shanghaied Short Ribs, Red Bliss Ribeye, and casual fare such as wings, cheesesteaks, guacamole and burgers.

Famous Smoke also expanded its retail space to include a larger walk-in humidor, and cigar accessories. There's also a lounge with flat screen televisions and comfy chairs.
