SUNRISE, FL - United Tobacco/EO Brands, known for their popular 601 Cigars line, have announced the newest addition to their stable - Cubao Cigars. Using the Taino word for "fertile soil," Cubao (pronounced "Cu-bao"), reflects the best of Cuban flavor achieved from the finest Nicaraguan and Ecuadorian tobaccos.
Containing 100% Nicaraguan filler and binder, the cigars, which will be available in six sizes are finished with an exquisite Ecuadorian grown Sumatra wrapper.
Currently being produced and aged at Pepin Garcia's Tabacalera Cubana S.A in Esteli, Nicaragua, United Tobacco/EO Brands will introduce them to retailers at the IPCPR (formerly, the RTDA) in Las Vegas, July 14th thru 17th.
The cigar is best described as a full bodied cigar that starts off very full with loads of spicy peppery flavors that bouquet into a very flavorful complex mouth watering smoke with undertones of leather & nutmeg. The Cubao will no doubt compliment our highly acclaimed 601 cigars series also made by Don ‘Pepin' Garcia.
Cubao is available in the following vitolas and packaged in boxes of 20 (No.3, the Lancero is in 30 count boxes). MSRP will range from $6.50 to $7.90 per cigar.
No.1 (7-1/8 x 49)
No.2 (6-1/8 x 52, torpedo)
No.3 (7½ x 38)
No.4 (4-7/8 x 50)
No.5 (6-1/8 x 50)
