Miami, FL -- In honor of Miami Cigar & Company’s founding in 1989, the company has announced the release of the Nestor Miranda Collection 1989 series.
Scheduled to arrive in cigar stores on May 1, 2010, the Nestor Miranda Collection 1989 is a beautiful combination of Nicaraguan Estelí and Jalapa tobaccos blended and manufactured at the My Father Cigars factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. The line was inspired by Nestor Miranda who described to Don Jose Pepin Garcia the specific flavor and body he was looking for, while insisting that it "be sold at a very reasonable price point."
"While we do not have any cigars in the Nestor Miranda Collection that are expensive, we wanted to offer an excellent smoke at a very reasonable price point," said Miami Cigar & Co VP, Rene Casteñeda. "It has become obvious that smokers, like everyone else, these days, are seeking to restrain their spending.”
With the continued success of the Nestor Miranda Special Selection cigars, the recent introduction of the Dominicano, and now the 1989 more or less completes the Nestor Miranda Collection. With a cigar for every smoker’s preference and pocketbook.
The Nestor Miranda Collection 1989 presents a satisfying robust flavor and aroma and will be released in the following three sizes.
Robusto (5 x 50)
Toro (6 x 50)
Torpedo (6-1/8 x 52)
Like the other cigars in the Nestor Miranda Collection, 1989 will be offered with two distinct wrappers: A Rosado, for those preferring a medium bodied smoke, and an Oscuro to satisfy the palates of those seeking a more medium to full bodied smoke. The cigars will be sold at a suggested retail price of $5 per cigar.
The 1989 will make its appearance in tobacco shops starting 1 May. For more information, visit Miami Cigar & Co. online.
