Holiday Humidor Available Until Limited Quantity is Depleted
Cigar Master Ernesto Perez-Carrillo, Jr. has once again delivered on his promise to create another new, limited edition Serie R Limitada® frontmark that will retire at the end of 2005.
As a complement to the Serie R® collection that has won international acclaim for Ernesto, Serie R Limitada 2005 is a belicoso-shaped cigar. Measuring 7 ¾" x 62, the 2005 Serie R Limitada offering boasts the brand's signature large ring gauge, and a symphony of robust flavors.
Available in Natural, which is wrapped in Ecuadoran Sumatra, and Maduro, which is wrapped in Connecticut Broadleaf, Serie R Limitada 2005 cigars are bound with Nicaraguan tobacco and filled with a signature blend of Nicaraguan and Dominican tobacco.
In conspicuous celebration of the seven-year anniversary of La Gloria Cubana's® famed Serie R collection of cigars, only 700 humidors will contain cigars with natural wrappers, and 700 will contain cigars with Maduro wrappers (a total of 1,400 humidors, and 21,000 each of natural and Maduro wrappers). Individual humidors will protect 30 cigars and will be progressively numbered and will be available for a suggested retail price of $592.50 per humidor.
The limited edition, diamond-shaped glass top, humidors are handcrafted in Italy and feature an exquisite Frise veneer, an amber-colored Italian wood overlay. The top of each humidor boasts the Serie R insignia etched into the glass in gold, complemented by Ernesto's name embossed in black. The glass-front panel of the humidor is also diamond shaped, and opens to reveals its interior which houses three trays. Each tray cradles ten cigars, for a total of 30 cigars per humidor.
Ardent cigar aficionados who are not able to get their hands on the 2005 Serie R Limitada need not fret. Although Serie R Limitada will debut and retire in 2005, Ernesto Perez-Carrillo will continue to make good on his promise by creating additional limited edition Serie R frontmarks in the upcoming years. These cigars will only be available during the year of their issue.
Beginning in November of 2005, select tobacconists will carry the Serie R Limitada 2005 humidor which will contain a state-of-the-art humidification device creating the ultimate environment for aging Serie R Limitada 2005 the cigars into rare treasures.
