RESIDENTS OF PENNSYLVANIA: NOW HEAR THIS!In addition to the federal SCHIP tobacco tax, which went into effect on April 1, 2009, the State of Pennsylvania now wants to impose a state tobacco tax that would result in a 59.2% increase, and your help is desperately needed.
Here's where you can view the proposed bill.
Please contact the elected officials listed below and ask them to oppose this bill, as this increase is grossly unfair. Ask your elected officials to consider taxing other products such as beer, liquor and soda to help share the tax burden.
