Leading professionals from the PGA and Champions tours will join 100 lucky, cigar-loving amateurs for a truly unforgettable golfing vacation.

PGA pros and amateurs alike have called it "the best golf pro-am on the planet." And this year’s Montecristo Cup, billed as the "ultimate marriage of golf cigars," promises to be the best ever. For the first time, the event will be held at the luxurious Atlantis Resort and Casino in the Bahamas, December 1st through 5th. This very popular tournament is filling up fast, so interested golfers need to act now.
By day, participants play the championship Ocean Club course – amateurs get to play with a different pro each round. By night, attendees enjoy the resort’s gourmet cuisine and fine wine and spirits – all the while indulging in Altadis U.S.A. premium cigars.
In addition to the golf, participants get to experience the action at the world-class casino or relax at one of the pristine white-sand beaches or sparkling pools. Exciting water adventures, marine life exhibits, spa and fitness center and an international shopping experience await as well.
One thing that truly sets this event apart is the wonderful camaraderie that has pros and amateurs doing everything together from breakfast in the morning to after dinner drinks and cigars to nights at the casino.
Most participants return year after year, and lifelong friendships have been made.
The entry fee for the 12th Annual Montecristo Cup Charity Pro-Am is $6,000, a portion of which is tax deductible. It includes four days and nights of luxury lodging, three rounds of tournament golf, all meals, unlimited luxury cigars, valuable golfer’s gift packages, a pairings party and sumptuous awards banquet.
Airfare is not included. A non-playing spouse or guest in a shared room is an additional $850.
Proceeds benefit the Montecristo Relief Organization
Founded in 1999 after two devastating hurricanes destroyed lives and property in the Caribbean, the Montecristo Relief Organization has raised over $4 million for victims of natural and economic disasters in the Caribbean and the United States.
Thanks to the support of Montecristo Cup attendees, new homes, schools and medical centers have been built, scholarships awarded and economic opportunities created for those in need.
One project of note is the Montecristo Village in Santa Rosa de Copan, Honduras. This community consisting of 100 homes, a school and various other community services is being built with funds provided by the Montecristo Relief Organization.
