TAMPA, FL — The top selling imported premium cigar, La Unica Dominican Primeros from J.C. Newman Cigar Co., is expanding its popular line to feature
maduro for the
Toro(6" x 50) #600 cigar. This is the first time the La Unica brand will highlight the full-bodied taste of maduro.
With the introduction of La Unica #600 in 2007, consumers had to wait for the maduro version because of the extensive process the cigar undergoes. The new #600 Maduro is a first for J.C. Newman's La Unica brand. The classic cigar with the velvety, sultry beginning amid hints of sweetness and fruit is now infused with the characteristic spicy-sweet taste of maduro. Impressively bolder, the La Unica #600 Maduro coloring is dark and rich and exudes the oily, shiny look as only fine maduro cigars display.
La Unica was first introduced 20 years ago as a challenge from patriarch Stanford J. Newman to his good friend Carlos Fuente, Sr. The challenge: develop a rich, flavorful superior-tasting premium cigar and package it inexpensively. Carlos selected the sizes and Stanford approved the blend - a combination of Cuban seed Dominican long filler tobaccos specially aged for maximum flavor and smoothness and skillfully hand-rolled in the Dominican Republic.
The La Unica #600 Maduro is now on sale at authorized stores and retails for $5.25 per cigar. To find out more information on La Unica #600 Maduro and the entire line of La Unica cigars, please visit www.LaUnica.com.
