blend for years, and now bring the fruit of that labor to you in the AVO 80th.
The AVO 80th is a 6 x 52 belicoso, packaged in a sumptuous leather bound box of 24 cigars. The blend is a combination of four select ligero and seco grades of Piloto and San Vicente tobaccos with a special sun-grown Ecuadorian wrapper. This combination results in one of the most complex, smooth, yet flavorful cigars you will ever smoke. The 80th is available in a limited edition of 8,000 boxes at $360.00 per box.
AVO has also created 80 beautiful, limited edition, AVO 80th Anniversary humidors for the occasion. Inside you will find 80 cigars from four AVO limited edition cigar lines. There are 20 cigars each of the AVO 80th Anniversary, AVO LE5, AVO 22 and the AVO 75th Anniversary. Each humidor is numbered, signed by Avo, and comes with one of Avo's signature hand-made hats and an invitation for 2 to his party in the Dominican Republic. These gorgeous leather-covered humidors, filled with 80 very rare AVO cigars, retail at $2,000.00.
To launch this fantastic cigar and celebrate his landmark 80th birthday, Avo will be the guest of honor at 13 dinners, hosted by select AVO retailers, throughout the US in cities like Orlando, Charlotte, Washington D.C., New York, Boston, San Francisco and Houston.
Boxes of the AVO 80th Anniversary cigar and the 80th humidor will be available to guests for purchase at each event. Every dinner will conclude with a raffle for an all expenses paid trip for 2 to Santiago, Dominican Republic to attend Avo's grand finale birthday party on June 23.
