The
European Cigar Cult Journal presented its annual Cigar Trophies at the 30th Annual Inter-Tabac Trade Fair held in Dortmund, Germany this past September. To be awarded a trophy at this very prestigious event is considered the highest honor in the trade. Altadis U.S.A. is pleased to announce that its Flor de Copan brand won the award for "Best Brand from Honduras."
What makes this award so significant is that in recent years Honduras has been turning out quite a few of the industry's most sought-after and highly rated cigars. These include Saint Luis Rey cigars, Quintero cigars and Gispert cigars, which are distributed in the United States, in addition to Flor de Copan, which is distributed worldwide. All are made at the company's La Flor de Copan factory, located in lush Santa Rosa de Copan, Honduras.
