Winners will meet world's leading Master cigar blenders in Santiago, DR, and create their own custom-blended cigars
EASTON, PA -- Famous Smoke Shop, the world's leading seller of discount premium cigars, is going to make two lucky cigar smokers very happy. In conjunction with their upcoming
Cigar Expo 2009, Famous is raffling off two chances to win an all-expenses-paid trip to Santiago, The Dominican Republic.
Described as "a cigar lover's dream come true," the winners will spend two days and three nights mingling with six of the world's leading "Master" cigar blenders: José Seijas (Montecristo, Romeo y Julieta), Daniel Nuñez (Macanudo, Partagas), Hendrik Kelner (Davidoff), Manuel Quesada (Fonseca, Casa Magna), Jean Clement of Tabaquisa (Juan Clemente), and Guillermo León (La Aurora).
Airfare to Santiago from the winners' destinations and hotel accommodations are included, which in cigar smoker's terms is just the "pre-light" part of the journey. The winners will get to participate in group discussions on tobacco-related topics, cigar tastings, dine with the Masters, and assist in blending their own cigar. But the pièce de résistance is that the winners will be shipped 250 of their custom-blended cigars, complete with customized bands to commemorate their visit.
There are two ways cigar smokers can win the trip. The first is by purchasing a ticket to Famous Smoke Shop's Cigar Expo, which takes place on June 27th, 2009. Each paid Cigar Expo admission includes a free raffle ticket for one of the drawings to win the trip to Santiago. And since Expo attendance is limited to 450 people, the odds of winning are quite favorable. The winner of this trip will be announced at the Expo and must be present to accept their prize.
An additional opportunity for a chance to win can be obtained by purchasing a raffle ticket from Famous Smoke Shop's website. Only 1,000 tickets are available online at a cost $25 each. The winner of the second drawing will also be announced at the Expo on June 27th, but is not required to be present at the event.
