Tickets for the Famous Smoke Shop Cigar Expo 2009 event are now on sale at
CigarExpo.net. The event, which takes place on Saturday, June 27, will commence at 2:00 P.M. for General Admission ticket holders. A limited number of VIP tickets are also available.
VIP ticket holders get to attend a special "Meet Your Makers" cigar dinner with the manufacturers on Friday night, June 26th, plus three-hour early admission to the event, additional cigars, and a special luncheon on Saturday, June 27th prior to the start of the event.
This year, as they also celebrate their 70th year in business, Famous Smoke Shop plans on ramping up the festivities as much as possible.
"We're going to give this year's attendees the royal treatment," said Famous Smoke Shop Retail Store manager, Tim Carr. "Not only will every guest receive at least 50 cigars, but we'll have plenty of entertainment, fantastic food, and some amazing raffle prizes."
Already confirmed is a raffle to win an all-expenses-paid trip to Santiago, The Dominican Republic to meet and dine with six ProCigar master blenders, tour their facilities, and create your own special cigar blend.
Cigar makers who will be attending in-person include, Jesus Fuego (777, J. Fuego Cigars, Royal Nicaraguan), Alan Rubin (Alec Bradley Cigars: Tempus, Maxx, Overture, Medalist, Siboney), Gene Arganese (Arganese), Avo Uvezian (AVO), Christian Eiroa (Camacho), Joe Chiusano (Cusano), Manuel Quesada (Fonseca), Guillermo Rico (Gran Habano), David Blanco (Los Blancos, Primos), Nick Perdomo (Perdomo), Abe Flores (Pinar Del Rio), Nestor Plasencia Jr. (Plasencia Reserva Organica, La Floridita), Rocky Patel (Rocky Patel), and Belinda Doyle (XiKAR), with many more to come.
Carr said he was still finalizing some other special activities and prizes that will make Cigar Expo 2009 even more entertaining.

General Admission Ticket - $150/person. Includes entry to the event on Saturday, June 27, starting at 2:00 PM, plus:

VIP Admission Ticket - $225/person. Includes everything you get with a regular admission ticket plus the following:
- Attendance to the exclusive vendor dinner on Friday, June 26.
