Nashville, TN - CAO, one of the world's foremost premium cigar manufacturers, was awarded a '92' ("Outstanding") rating for its
CAO Vision Prana cigar in the January issue of
Cigar Aficionado magazine, widely regarded as the ultimate authority on premium cigars.
In the same issue, CAO Vision Prana made the distinguished list of "Top 25 Best Cigars of the Year." Of over 700 cigars rated by both Cigar Aficionado and Cigar Insider over the previous 12 months, only 8 were rated above CAO Vision. CAO's first cigar to be rolled in the Dominican Republic, Vision was described as "...a serious smoke...that is earthy, woody, and toasty."
"We're extremely proud of this recognition," commented CAO President Tim Ozgener. "Vision was a very special brand to develop, as it was our first Dominican cigar and holds a special place in our company's history." CAO Chairman Gary Hyams added, "It is truly an honor to be among the top 10 cigars in the world. While we have set the benchmark quite high for ourselves, I'm confident that CAO's best is yet to come."
This is the third consecutive year that a CAO Cigar has been selected for Cigar Aficionado's annual "Top 25 Best Cigars of the Year." In 2005, CAO The SopranosTM Edition Associate was chosen and was followed last year by the CAO Italia Novella. £
