Taking a cue from Woody Allen's 1966 comedy, "What's Up Tiger Lily?," where Allen took a Japanese movie called "International Secret Police: Key of Keys" and re-dubbed it, CAO Cigars International presents their production of "CAO Comes Through for Chicagoland."
Instead of a plot revolving around a secret egg salad recipe, CAO sends-up the recent cancellation of the Chicago Big Smoke.
Using clips from what looks like either "Rashomon," or "The Seven Samurai" by the legendary Japanese director, Akira Kurosawa, it could be from any number of Japanese movies, but one thing for sure: it's damn funny.
According to the description on CAO International's YouTube site, "When the 2008 Chicago Big Smoke was canceled due to tightened smoking restrictions, a small group of CAO loyalists rallied to raise the spirits of their beloved cigar club."
Hilarity and mayhem ensue.
Watch "CAO Comes Through for Chicagoland."
I'm pretty sure many of you will be passing this one on to your cigar-smoking friends.
Enjoy!
