Nashville, TN - CAO, one of the world's foremost premium cigar manufacturers, was awarded a '91' rating ("OUTSTANDING") for its most recent release — CAO LX2 — in the April 2009 issue of Cigar Aficionado magazine, and was also the highest-rated cigar in the "
Corona Gorda" category.
Cigar Aficionado magazine is widely regarded as the ultimate authority on the world of premium cigars and referred to CAO LX2 as, "...one of the company's best." LX2 is the eleventh CAO cigar line to receive a '90' or above rating from Cigar Insider and Cigar Aficionado.
"The LX2 blend was inspired by the tobaccos from a small, relatively unknown, 140-acre farm outside of Condega, Nicaragua," said CAO President Tim Ozgener.
Added CAO Chairman Gary Hyams, "CAO strives to produce cigars that are diverse in taste and consistent in excellence; that this is our eleventh brand to receive the benchmark '90' rating is a testimony to the hard work everyone has put forth at CAO."
Packaged in boxes of 20 cigars, CAO LX2 cigars are available in four shapes: Rob (5" x 52), Toro (6" x 50), the torpedo-shaped Beli (6 1/2" x 52), and the new Lancero (7 ½" x 38).
