In what appears to be a send-up of two popular Quentin Tarantino films, "Reservoir Dogs" and "Pulp Fiction," with a nod also to The Sopranos, CAO Films presents "Mission Escaparate." The plot centers around a caper organized by "Mr. Huge" (played by Fred Gill) to steal a new
blend from CAO's Escaparate - the vault "that safeguards every cigar that comes from the CAO factories." Mr. Huge wants the blend before CAO can debut it at this summer's IPCPR trade show in Las Vegas. Mystery and intrigue ensue.
Presented in two parts on CAO's YouTube channel, the movie also stars several CAO staff members including Jon Huber (Director of Lifestyle Marketing) as "Johnny Chaos." Along with some gun-totin' tough guys, there are also several comely young ladies in the movie. Plus, you'll get a sneak peak at CAO International's corporate offices in Nashville, including their warehouse, and of course, the coveted Escaparate.
Will it win a "Palme d'Or" at Cannes? Probably not, but it's fun to watch.
