CAO President to offer a deconstructed tasting of CAO LX2 cigars
Nashville -- CAO Cigars announced today that it will conduct a series of "CAO eLements" events at retail tobacconist shops across the country beginning next month.
The events will be hosted by CAO President Tim Ozgener and will feature a deconstructed tasting and sensory overview of CAO's highly sought-after new brand, LX2 cigars. Comprised of tobaccos from Nicaragua, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic, the CAO LX2 was recently awarded the highest rating ('91'—"OUTSTANDING") of any cigar in the Corona Gorda category in the April '09 issue of Cigar Aficionado magazine.
"The eLements event will provide a very hands-on experience as to what goes into blending a particular cigar," said CAO President Tim Ozgener. "We break down the different ligero tobaccos that are utilized in the LX2 blend into three individual 'puros' (cigars comprised entirely of one type of tobacco), smoking each one on its own and cleansing the palate between cigars. In the end, we smoke an LX2 Robusto so that the participant can literally taste how all three tobaccos marry together in order to create the final desired flavor."
The CAO eLements tour kicks off on April 7 at Tobacco Junction in Tyler, Texas, and will continue throughout major markets across the country from Southern California to New York City. For a complete list of CAO eLements dates, please visit the 'Events' page located on www.caointernational.com.
