Jackson, MS – Although still a young company, Avalon Cigars has another hit on their hands. You would sell your soul for this cigar. Like the blues legend Robert Johnson making a deal with the Devil at the Crossroads in order to play like no other, the Hellhound follows suit.
By blending just the right proportions of old Nicaraguan and Peruvian ligero Mike Adams has managed to create a balanced spiciness you begin to crave over and over.
This line is rolled in Nicaragua and comes in three sizes presented in boxes of 21 cigars. The blend is comprised of aged Nicaraguan and Peruvian longfillers spiked with ample amounts of Ligero with a long-aged Nicaraguan binder, and rolled in a lush, beautifully-aged Nicaraguan Habano Wrapper. The cigars are also cedar wrapped, adding to the attractive presentation of these heady and complex cigars. The cigars are extra-full bodied and not for the meek.
Hijon (5½ x 44)
Black Cat Bone (5 x 60)
Mojo Stik (6 x 50)
Displayed in bright, red, wooden boxes adorned with the Hellhound logo, these sticks visually pop off the shelf and appear more expensive than they are with an MSRP under $8.50 on the largest one. This is one of the most unique cigars you'll find. It is a hearty smoke with a profile you can't quite put your finger on, but you want to keep trying.
