Alec Bradley Bows New Image with Debut of Tempus Premium Cigar Selection

DANIA, FL - March 28, 2008 - The Alec Bradley Cigar Company, known for producing the highly-rated MAXX cigars, Trilogy, and Occidental Reserve premium cigar selections, has decided to bring all future premium cigar releases to market under the "Alec Bradley" name in order to convey a more unified look and identity to its portfolio of fine cigars.

Starting with the release of the Alec Bradley Tempus cigars selection - the company’s new flagship cigar - all new Alec Bradley Cigars will use the Alec Bradley name as the primary brand, showcasing a new motif and a new Alec Bradley label.

"Consumers request our cigars, but may not realize who the maker is behind many of our nationally marketed brands," said Alan Rubin, founder and president of Alec Bradley Cigar Company.  “I decided to put our company's name on Tempus because I'm convinced this cigar is something really special. When I discovered the wrapper tobacco on a small Nicaraguan farm back in 2001, I could immediately see how extraordinary it was, and still remember how good the flavor and aroma were even back then. I checked on it periodically over the next two years. Finally, in 2003 I knew it was ready and was thrilled by its appearance, flavor, and strength."

During the next two years Rubin supervised the exhaustive process of sorting and selecting the finest tobaccos, including aging the limited amount of wrapper that was available to produce the Tempus line. Moreover, the long period of time it took to develop the tobaccos and the cigar became a central theme in naming the cigars Tempus, which is Latin for "time."

"Cigar enthusiasts will be equally impressed with the immense flavor, complexity and smoothness of Tempus," added Mr. Rubin. "The smoke is robust, but very subtle in the way its strength sneaks up on you.”

Alec Bradley Tempus is scheduled for release on April 22, and will be available in 5 popular Cuban shapes: "Genesis" (5-1/2" x 42), "Terra Novo" (5" x 50), Creo (7-1/2" x 41), "Centuria" (7" x 49), and "Imperator" (a 6-1/8" x 52 Torpedo). Retail prices will range from $6.25 to $8.50 (SRP). Following the Tempus release, Alec Bradley will be hosting retailer parties at cigar stores nationwide to help introduce the new line.

"Today, the precious little time we take for ourselves is becoming rarer and rarer," Mr. Rubin concluded. "So we created Alec Bradley Tempus to make the most of it." £
