Q: I enjoy
Arturo Fuente Rothschild,
Hemingway Signature,
Don Carlos Robusto,
CAO Cameroon,
Nub 460 Cameroon, and
Famous Nicaraguan Cameroon. I want to try a Davidoff cigar, but the variety is extensive and expensive. All my cigars now are natural, and as I've indicated, I enjoy a
Cameroon wrapper. What would you suggest from Davidoff that might be similar to my taste?
- Daniel N. in Portland, MI
A: To my knowledge, Davidoff does not make a Cameroon-wrapped cigar.* However, I would suggest something from the
Davidoff Grand Cru cigars line. They're medium-bodied for the most part, but are generally rolled in smaller ring gauges. If you've never tried
any Davidoff, then I suggest you start with the
Davidoff Aniversario #3. It's one my personal favorites. They come in a
box of 10, but the three pack
tubos (
shown) are much more affordable. (Well, I guess it depends on how you define affordable. ;-), but they're absolutely wonderful.
