Q. How does one re-cement a loose wrapper, or one that might have been nicked? Someone suggested Pectin. I think that's a grocery store item. Any Ideas?

A. Yes, Pectin can be used to repair loose cigar wappers, and is available at most supermarkets. I also found a link where you can learn about "repairing a damaged cigar with pectin" at StogieReview.com. There's even a video on the page which shows you how to do it, too.
I've used 50/50 humidifier charging solution a few times to glue back a wrapper. It actually works OK in a pinch for small repairs, but I don't have as much confidence in it for big ones.
The ideal repair medium is gum tragacanth, which is used for gluing the caps on cigars. You might be able to get some online. There's was also a cigar repair kit called "Cigar Doctor," basically a bottle of the stuff and a brush. Some cigar stores were stocking it for a while, but I'm not sure if it's still avaiable.
