601 Assorted cigars were created by José "Pepin" Garcia, the mastermind behind Tatuaje, in August of 2006, and have since taken off like wildfire. The cigars are manufactured at the Tabacalera Cubana in Estelí, Nicaragua. The brand is owned by Eddie Ortega Brands/United tobacco, and since its debut, has received accolades from Cigar Aficionado and Cigar Snob magazines, among others. Ranging from medium to full-bodied, the line offers something for the most discerning palates.
