Aroma: Earthy and semi-sweet
Burn / Ash: Very good. Firm. Nice and clean.
General Observations: The cigar started out nice and creamy with a rich, dark tobacco flavor. As the cigar reached the one inch mark, notes of white pepper entered the mix. The smoke remained relatively creamy, well-balanced, and offered lots of flavor in every puff. By the midpoint, I picked up some notes of orange peel. During the last half the cigar remained smooth, revealing even more flavors, and never turned bitter.
Summary: The 90 Miles Resrva Selecta
blend is notably more complex than the
original 90 Miles selection, yet maintains the sweet, creamy medium-bodied character of its first cousin. Best way to say it would be this blend has more of an edge. Had one relight along the way and it survived. The second half of the cigar offers darker tobacco flavors and a little more pepper, but the spiciness doesn't linger at the back of your palate. Puff slowly and you'll get the most out of this cigar. Another fine cigar from Flor De Gonzalez.
